Instructor confirmation of dry suit diving experience

The minimum requirement for diving at Silfra is PADI Open Water certification or the equivalent (autonomous diver certified to go to maximum 18 m) and dry suit certification.

In lieu of dry suit certification, divers can present proof of a minimum of 10 logged dry suit dives within the last two years. The proof of these dives must be a written confirmation by an instructor affiliated with an internationally recognized diving organization (you can use this form).

If you are not able to meet the requirements, you are welcome to join a Snorkeling Silfra tour instead.
